Konecta Foundation celebrated 20 Years of social impact with new identity and global vision

Madrid, June 2nd, 2025The Konecta Foundation, established in 2005 by Konecta, marked two decades of transformative social action by unveiling a new brand identity – officially adopting the name “Konecta Foundation” – and a new website. The announcement took place during Expocontact 2025, the leading event in CX BPO, in Madrid on May 28 and reflected a renewed commitment to inclusive growth—not only in Spain but in Latin America and Europe, as part of its international expansion.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Her Royal Highness Infanta Elena of Spain, Project Director of Fundación MAPFRE, one of the organizations honored at the event.

“When we founded Konecta, our vision went beyond business success — we wanted to build a company with purpose. The Konecta Foundation was born to align that purpose with action, putting employment, technology, and talent at the service of those who need it most. At Konecta, we’ve always believed in doing well by doing good” affirmed José María Pacheco, Founder and President of Konecta

“For 20 years, the Konecta Foundation has believed in the power of social inclusion to transform lives. This new chapter reaffirms our promise to build a more equitable future with innovation, purpose, and global solidarity” said Graciela de la Morena Carra, Director of the Konecta Foundation.

A global chapter begins

The Foundation’s 20th anniversary was not just a milestone—it marked the beginning of a new era. Already operating in countries such as Spain, Colombia, and Peru, the Foundation announced a strategic international expansion. Its global activity will be structured around three strengthened pillars:

  • Employability: Promoting access to quality jobs through vocational and digital training.
  • Social Innovation: Driving inclusive digitization through long-term partnerships with universities, NGOs, and tech leaders.
  • Community Development: Supporting high-impact, grassroots projects via open calls and volunteer programs.

This evolution aligns with the Foundation’s mission to scale inclusive solutions across both mature and emerging markets, broadening access to employment, technology, and opportunity for vulnerable populations.

Celebrating impact: 20 years of action

In its two-decade journey, the Konecta Foundation has:

  • Invested €20 million in social initiatives
  • Benefited over 220,000 people directly
  • Integrated 16,000+ individuals into the workforce through partnerships
  • Engaged 20,000 employee volunteers

The new digital identity and platform will serve as a springboard for broader collaboration and visibility, enabling a wider global community to engage with the Foundation’s mission.
