2. For what purposes and on what legal bases do we process your personal data?
KONECTA FOUNDATION will process your personal data for the purposes applicable in each case:
- To manage your request to submit your project proposal to us, the legal basis for which is our legitimate interest in responding to your request.
- To enable your registration, participation and follow-up in the Training School program and to communicate with you in relation to it. The processing includes the creation of user accounts, registration on technological platforms, the sending of invitations and reminders, academic follow-up and the issuance of certificates. The legal basis for this processing is the performance of a contract in relation to your application for registration in the Training School and, where applicable, your participation in the program.
- To send you communications about future training opportunities within the Training School program, the legal basis for which is your explicit consent given via the corresponding checkbox. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting: dpd@konecta.com.
- To be included in the KONECTA Group candidate database in order to receive communications regarding professional opportunities that may be of interest to you. In this case, the legal basis is your explicit consent given via the corresponding checkbox. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting: dpd@konecta.com.
We only collect the data necessary for each purpose. Please note that if you do not provide the required information, we may not be able to fulfil the corresponding purpose. No automated decisions will be made based on the data provided.
3. How long will we retain your personal data?
Your data will be retained for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, and specifically:
- In relation to the management of your request, for as long as necessary to process it.
- In relation to your registration and participation in the Training School program, for as long as your application is being processed and, where applicable, for the duration of your participation in the program.
- In relation to the sending of communications about future training opportunities, your data will be retained until you object to the processing or withdraw your consent.
- In relation to the sending of communications regarding professional opportunities, your data will be retained until you object to the processing or withdraw your consent.
Your data may be retained in a duly blocked form for the applicable legal limitation periods.
4. To which recipients will your personal data be disclosed?
The data you provide to us may be disclosed to companies within the KONECTA Group, if you consent to this through the corresponding checkbox, in order to inform you about professional opportunities.
Please be informed that your data may also be disclosed to data processors (technology providers, partners, etc.), some of which have processing and/or support centers located outside the European Economic Area.
We guarantee that, where your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, international data transfers will only be carried out in compliance with the safeguards required under the General Data Protection Regulation. For further information on international data transfers, or to obtain confirmation or a copy of the safeguards applied, you may contact the Data Protection Officer of KONECTA FOUNDATION.
Furthermore, we inform you that we use social connectors, i.e., third-party plugins (applications) that allow this Web to connect with social networks and other similar services (LinkedIn or others) in order to access KONECTA FOUNDATION profiles on such social networks. 5. How do we protect your personal data?
We are committed to keeping your data secure by taking all reasonable precautions to do so. We implement all necessary organizational and technical measures in accordance with applicable regulations against any unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction. We also require and contractually oblige service providers that handle your data to do the same.
6. What are your rights?
You may request confirmation as to whether your personal data is being processed and, where applicable, access it. You may also request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its erasure when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
