The Green Jobs Hub by Konecta Foundation presents its handbook for advancing the circular economy in retail

The Green Jobs Hub, an initiative by Konecta Foundation supported by J.P. Morgan, has presented the “Circular Economy in the Retail Sector” handbook in collaboration with the Alcobendas City Council
The objective of this manual is to propose practical measures for implementing a circular economy within Spain’s retail sector. This initiative, proposed by the Green Employment Hub to the City Council of Alcobendas in December 2022, was carried out between March and May of this year. The manual includes an analysis of the circular economy, its core principles, and their application to retail. It introduces the Multi-R system and highlights key areas where retailers can maximize their impact in contributing to the circular economy.
During the presentation, Graciela de La Morena, Director of Konecta Foundation, emphasized: “More and more institutions and companies are ramping up their investments in circular economy activities.”
This initiative is part of the Green Jobs Hub’s broader mission to connect vulnerable youth and people at risk of social exclusion with sustainable and green job opportunities.
