Fundación Bertín Osborne benefits from the 18th Konecta Foundation Charity Paddle Tournament

Since its inception, Konecta Foundation's Charity Paddle Tournament has aimed to raise funds for social causes. A well-established, inclusive, and family-friendly sporting event, it has been held annually with the support of Konecta employees and volunteers.
For the 18th edition, hosted at Club Ciudad de la Raqueta and presided over by Konecta’s President José María Pacheco, over 350 participants—including players and attendees—took part. Among them were Fabiola Martínez, President of the Fundación Bertín Osborne; Fernando Vega of WAIR Facility Services; Daniel Restrepo, Director of Social Action at Fundación MAPFRE; and Teresa Silva, President of Fundación También, recognized for her leadership in adaptive sports.
As every year, numerous companies sponsored the event or donated items for the charity raffle. The tournament has benefited over 4,000 vulnerable individuals through 23 social organizations, donating more than €390,000, supported by over 5,300 players and volunteers.
This year’s entire proceeds—marking the second consecutive year—were allocated to the +Family initiative of the Fundación Bertín Osborne. This service offers free, comprehensive support to families of people with disabilities via a dedicated app, phone counseling, and in-person workshops. Konecta Foundation also maintains a global partnership with the foundation, providing free advice on employment and accessibility to families who request it.
