Konecta Foundation delivers awards alongside J.P. Morgan for its “Green Jobs Hub” program on World Environment Day

On June 5, Konecta Foundation, together with J.P. Morgan, celebrated World Environment Day by presenting awards for its “Green Jobs Hub” program, which—since 2021—has been providing training and employment to vulnerable youth and other at-risk groups. To date, 1,205 people have accessed green job opportunities, 373 participated in the program, 139 completed internships, and 80 secured stable employment in this sector.

The awards were distributed across four categories:

• Social entities: UNHCR, CESAL, CEAR, CEPAIM Foundation, and Iniciativas SUR Foundation
• Training centers & universities: INGEUS, Grupo ASPASIA, Technical University of Madrid, and Universidad Europea of Madrid
• Public administrations: City Councils of Móstoles, Alcobendas, and the Villaverde district of Madrid
• Businesses & entrepreneurship: Acciona, GVC Valoración, Geesol Renovables, and INCYDE Foundation

Special mentions were awarded to Fundación Repsol, Santa María La Real Foundation, the Colombian Embassy and Consulate, and Fundación MAPFRE.
