Meetings “Inserta Empleo”

Konecta participates in the “Talentos” program driven by Inserta Empleo, part of Fundación Once.

The objective is to promote the hiring of people with disabilities through a series of corporate meetings in industrial zones and business parks across Galicia, showcasing the benefits of employing people with disabilities.

Inserta Empleo—a human‑resources entity of Fundación Once specializing in supporting people with disabilities—organized the “Talentos” event in the Ferrol region of La Coruña. Funded by the European Social Fund under the Social Inclusion and Social Economy Operational Programme (POISES), its goal is to raise awareness among participating companies about the value, resilience, and capabilities of people with disabilities.

Konecta participated in a conference on socio‑labor inclusion within companies, delivered by María José Platas, Key Account Manager at Konecta, who emphasized that “the employment integration of people with disabilities is a cornerstone of the company’s social strategy, led by its Foundation.”

The event included business representatives from the Rio do Pozo industrial estate and the wider Ferrol and Narón area. It was inaugurated by Beatriz Gallego, Regional Director of Inserta Empleo in Galicia, together with Ferrol’s ONCE director Belén Regueiro and Territorial Delegate of the Xunta de Galicia in Ferrol, Martina Aneiros.

It was closed by Ferrol’s mayor, José Manuel Rey Varela, who underscored the importance of access to employment as a key factor in personal and professional fulfillment, affirming that everyone should have equal opportunities regardless of ability.

The “Talentos” program is also being conducted in other regions such as Asturias, the Canary Islands, Murcia, Andalusia, and Castilla‑La Mancha.
