Neurodiversia, the podcast of Autism Chair, wins the Inclusion Award at the 1st RadiUS Awards

On October 18th, the first RadiUS Awards ceremony was held by the University of Seville’s radio station, aiming to recognize the dedication and effort of various media projects over the past year.

Among the awardees was Neurodiversia, the radio show of the Autism Chair at the University of Seville. Supported by Konecta Foundation and Befesa, the program is hosted by autistic individuals who speak firsthand about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Neurodiversia received the Inclusion Award.

Konecta Foundation has supported the Autism Chair since its inception three years ago, with the goal of fostering inclusion within the university environment and promoting training and employment access for people with autism.

David Saldaña, Director of the Autism Chair, said upon receiving the award: “This recognition reflects our shared commitment to increasing visibility for diversity and building a more inclusive society.”

Graciela de La Morena, Director of Konecta Foundation, added: “This podcast was created as a space to give voice to the autistic community, helping to foster deeper understanding and respect for neurodiversity. This award also belongs to the autistic individuals who participate in the program—whose courage and authenticity are the soul of this project and who play a vital role in the fight for visibility and inclusion.”
