Konecta Foundation and Fad Juventud partner to train young people in AI for Customer Experience

Konecta Foundation and Fad Juvenutd partnership

Rebuilding lives together

– The initiative will offer accredited training in both technical and soft skills to 300 young participants.

– Through this joint program, both organizations aim to enhance youth employability and bridge the gap between education and the demands of the digital labor market.

Madrid, October 8th, 2025. Konecta Foundation and Fad Juventud have established a strategic alliance to deliver specialized training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) applied to customer experience. The initiative aims to enhance youth employability in a rapidly digitizing sector that faces a growing demand for qualified professionals.

This program addresses a dual challenge: Spain’s high youth unemployment rate — 27.7% in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to the National Statistics Institute (INE) — and the shortage of professionals equipped to meet the needs of the digital economy. The DigitalES 2024 report reveals that more than 120,000 technology positions remained unfilled last year, many in areas such as digital customer service, process automation, and AI operations.

A pioneering training pathway for the sector

The program is part of GoeTech Academy, Fad Juventud’s digital training initiative, and offers a comprehensive learning pathway that combines technical knowledge, cross-cutting skills, and personalized mentoring. Its goal is to help participants develop a holistic understanding of AI-driven customer experience,  from managing chatbots, virtual assistants, and automation tools to exploring machine learning, generative AI, and technology ethics.

Through this collaboration, 300 young people will access GoeTech Academy’s general AI training, with certifications endorsed by organizations such as IBM SkillsBuild and Microsoft. Building on this foundation, participants will be able to continue their specialization in digital customer service through the Konecta Foundation School, which will provide advanced training in AI applied to customer management and access to Konecta’s dedicated job placement program for digital service profiles.

“With this partnership, we are not only seeking to reduce youth unemployment, but also to foster a new generation of professionals ready to lead the digital transformation of customer experience,” said Graciela de la Morena, Executive Director of Konecta Foundation.

“In a context where digitalization advances faster than opportunities for many young people, it’s essential to guide and support them so they can develop their talent and confidence. Through this alliance, we want artificial intelligence to become a tool for inclusion and personal growth—not another barrier of inequality,” added Beatriz Martín Padura, General Manager  of Fad Juventud.

Direct Impact on Youth Employability

The project also incorporates an outreach strategy to engage young people who are unemployed or at risk of social exclusion. This will include social media campaigns, partnerships with educational institutions, and awareness initiatives to highlight the opportunities offered by technological training in digital customer service.

It is expected that at least 80% of participants will rate the learning experience positively, and a significant proportion of those completing the specialization will secure employment in the sector — contributing to closing the gap between training, digitalization, and youth employability in Spain.
