Driving social transformation through employability: Konecta Foundation’s impact in Brazil

Creating access to employment is one of the most effective ways to generate sustainable social impact. At Konecta Foundation, this belief translates into concrete initiatives that connect people with opportunities, strengthen local communities and support long term development.
In Brazil, this approach comes to life through a set of programs focused on employability, inclusion and community empowerment, helping individuals build skills, access jobs and actively contribute to their communities.
Employability as a pathway to inclusion
One of the most impactful initiatives is Mulheres Konectadas (Connected Women), developed in Embu das Artes in partnership with Amorphilia. The program supports women from the local community by providing training aligned with current market needs, enabling them to access employment and build sustainable careers.
The initiative goes beyond training by fostering autonomy, confidence and professional growth. Today, 20 women are actively part of the program, with several already progressing into leadership roles, demonstrating how targeted employability programs can drive real social mobility.
Boosting local economies through inclusive employment
A key example of this model is the development of a work and skills hub in Paraisópolis, one of São Paulo’s largest communities, in partnership with G10 Favelas and PagBank.

In this initiative, Konecta and its Foundation play a key role in creating employment opportunities within the community, contributing its operational expertise to bring jobs closer to where people live. By reducing barriers to access and enabling local hiring, the hub helps strengthen the local economy while improving access to formal employment.
The project reflects how collaboration between companies, foundations and community organizations can generate scalable and sustainable impact, combining business capabilities with local knowledge.
Strengthening communities through partnerships and engagement

At the same time, internal campaigns, such as the collection of can tabs and bottle caps, later transformed into wheelchairs, demonstrate how collective action can translate into tangible social outcomes, reinforcing a shared sense of purpose.
Konecta Foundation’s work in Brazil is also reflected in initiatives that reinforce social cohesion and community engagement.
Actions such as Páscoa Solidária (Solidarity Easter), carried out in partnership with Cacau Show and the Associação em Defesa e Inclusão do Paradeporte, create spaces for connection and inclusion, promoting a culture of solidarity within communities.
At the same time, internal campaigns, such as the collection of can tabs and bottle caps, later transformed into wheelchairs, demonstrate how collective action can translate into tangible social outcomes, reinforcing a shared sense of purpose.
A scalable approach to community development
The initiatives developed in Brazil are part of a broader strategy led by Konecta Foundation to:
- Expand access to employment opportunities
- Support vulnerable groups through skills development
- Strengthen local ecosystems through partnerships
- Create measurable and long term social impact
By combining training, job creation and community engagement, this model can be adapted across regions while remaining closely connected to local needs.
Creating opportunities that transform lives
Through programs like Mulheres Konectadas (Connected Women), partnerships in Paraisópolis and community driven initiatives, Konecta Foundation continues to demonstrate that social impact is most effective when it is connected to real opportunities.
In Brazil, as in many other regions, the focus remains clear: enabling people to access employment, grow professionally and actively participate in the development of their communities.
Because ultimately, social transformation happens when opportunity becomes accessible.
